hey hey! check out the first page for my new comic “The Rising Sun“ (based on the Aztec myth of “The Fifth Sun”) at the Wanderlust Anthology! while is not that noticiable on this page, the coloring does get pretty crazier later on there, I really tried to go for one of that effect of that classic acid musical sequences of before in cartoons, check at my patron for some more previews!

They make you do the whole book ahead of time? This sounds like a contest that’s bad for artists.
oh no, but I do have to write on a pdf all the text it will have and make 3 llustrations show how it is meant to look like and, if I win they send me the money I will be needeing to actually work and finish the whole thing, but I partially can’t go onto it becuase I currenlty working on one of my anthology comic AND I need some time to figure the mailing aspect, since mexico is pretty awful about it, less than 20 days is impossible unless I get som delux mailing service
just discovered a great contest for a chance to make a kids book but it ends up in like 20 days, and I can’t finish all the requests and the mailing process in such time urghhhhh I guess the best thing I can do now is keeping an eye open for it next year entry
