I think that for real, one of the moments that hurts me the most in almost any story is that one moment in which the villain must reaffirm what a monster they have become or actually been all along by betraying or killing their right hand/family member/best friend/lover that has been extremely loyal to them for the whole time, specially when that right hand is refusing to follow them on their madness, pride and rage trip because whatever the villain currently want to do would hurt more their plan than help them to win for real

villain kill a civilian? ehhh   villain kill one of the good guys?? MEH   villain kill one of the good guys which who I could maybe ship them??? I actually kinda waiting for that tbh   but when they kill their equivalent of best friend   urgh that one does hurt my heart   more becuase half of the time is done so much on purpose to show that yes they are beyond anything else except themself and their revenge   there is no backing from their attack of maddness and pride   or whatever   evil peopel having loved ones is really gonna be the dead of me

I’ve went through all of @thismightyneed humanized designs of the Cuphead characters and I wanna say…I AM MADLY IN LOVE WITH THEIR STYLE LIKE OMFG THEY LOOK SO GOOD!! You did an amazing job at capturing the characters personaltiea and expressions!! Anyway I tried (keyword is “tried”) to replicate their style by drawing my OC Fran McFox as humanized as possible (using Baroness Von Bon Bon’s design as style reference). She’ll be the tough, strong sheriff of Inkwell who takes her job very seriously when the bad guys gets a bit too rowdy. Fran works at a wild west themed area of Isle 2, but lives in a small cozy house in Isle 3. She does however have a soft motherly side for young children, and acts like a bubbly goofball around her friends and loved ones.
