following in part both prompts that were used on this and this also being a silence of the lambs crossover
Pitch is a rich man who is plagued by terrible nightmares every night (the cannibal urge he is trying to control but is scared that one day he will no longer be capable of hold it), Sandy at his part is already on his particular deed of “helping troubled people” and working as a psychologist
At some point, Pitch hires Sandy to help him because he is basically getting crazy with this, when Sandy met him, is easy to see he should “help” Pitch on his horrible situation, so he start both treating and stalking him, but when he discover the root of Pitch’s problems he just realize he has found basically a kindred spirit on him, and in place of finishing him like with the others, he start helping Pitch to accept that part of him and embracing it, eventually Pitch and Sandy fall in love and Pitch help Sandy on his killings
After some while Pitch has to go on a trip and while he is away, Sandy is discovered and send to jail, Pitch is partialy devastated when he come back but at least he has some relief in sending letters to Sandy (which Sandy can notice are his of course)
Pitch keep killing people due the cannibal thing, police eventually notice and start investigating the “Boogeyman” case. One day Pitch sees Sophie which remembers him of Sandy so much (little one, dreamy eyes, blond messy hair) that kidnap her right away (he sees her ONLY as sort of what-would-be daughter of them, nothing else besides that because NOPE). At his part, Sandy is being asked help to resolve the very same case of Pitch (Sandy knows is him and it make him start planning) (Tooth who here is a FBI agent, is the one dealing with Sandy’s hannibal lectures)
(and according to Gretch’s fill) Sophie being the Senator’s daughter, make things get complicated and Tooth gotta find out fast who and where is the Boogeyman and Sophie, Sandy meanwhile is momentarily move to a temporal cell after having a talk with the senator in exchange of more of his help, Pitch discover this due the news and then he just leave his hiding place (and Sophie) and goes where Sandy is being keep, he just go and pretends to be a guard and kill the guards watching over Sandy, they elope from there (probably another country)
Tooth find Sophie in the hiding place, but there isn’t any clues of who was the Boogeyman and later she is told that Sandy escaped, but in the end she can’t do anything about it
