Ok so, if I were to make a tarot cards sets, what would sounds better, clows or horror icons????
sometimes is hard understanding certlain films and tv critism when I’m virtually blind to recognize campiness, not in the gay way of course, but what people describe as over the top dramatic semi “bad” acting??? I guess so? in 100% legitimate way, I can’t tell if a character is acting in a way one call campy as let’s say, being weirdly excentric or loud and dramatic by their own personality choice, I just assume is what they are meant to be, liek how in comedies like naked gun everybody is adsurdly goofy and illogic in a casual way, and thats just the nature of their every day.
I just feel is mostly about what is the nature of the reality depending the genre of the story, like, horror is 1 or 2 levels more slow and accepting of the creeping shadow in the corner, while romance is 2 levels faster than our reality making the main girl abandoning her boyfrined without a word by just seeing him walking with someone else as first plan basis, comedy is like 4 level fasters while the room is constantly shaking
but when something like phanthom of the paradise for example, is told that is campy, I’m full at lost about it becuase I can’t tell in which way is meant to be, liek sure i can notice the overly fast actions and punishment in the characters, or how noisy and loud some are to show attitude, while others just keep going all erratic without trying any realistic solution to their troubles, but isn’t that how the reality of that world is just meant to be??? knowing everybody act in such way, how can campiness can be interpreted INSIDE that kind of world??
if they act in a way that INSIDE their world makes sense, then I feel they just are as they are meant to be, like a sudden dead thats meant to be taken dramatic, I can get it, it moves in the way this world does, but if this world is grimmer and more realistic and someone dies and then no more than 5 mins later someone is cracking jokes and everybody passing a good time to light up the mood FOR THE AUDIENCE….I can’t get there, you lost me and lost whatever i might feel of your drama

my weird pan/ace “enemies to lovers” monster/villains predilected ass: *makes semi gothic horror story about finding a weird monster, getting horrifyed by it, character being a complety dumbass by sympathicing with it at cost of maybe losing a limb to help it because even dumbest sense of conscience, winking at an EVENTUAL future romantic ending becuase main character has weird beastly turn ons they just realized*
me: clearly I just can’t help being an true romantic at soul
I actually been reworking my Unearthly County story to be more horror/comedy approach rather than daily life because I suckkkkkk at trying to write casual feel good situations, specially when everything I really want Is for beastly beings beating up each others for both loving AND jerkish intentions
me: to be popular I gotta get myself on some fandoms and beloved media, soemthing very trendy at the moment

me: villanous is a fun cartoon and has some nice ideas but doesnt have very original designs and the premise of villains as main characters never really pay off since they always end up being the butt of the joke and awful at actual evil perverse acts
me after watching any villanous short filled to the brim with old school refs, the original spanish VAs, and the constants swearing and cursing: VILLANOUS IS A FUCKING GIFT ON THIS AWFUL EARTH AND NOBODY CAN SAY OTHERWISE!!!
I will be starting to ink a long comic soon and I need some audio material to entertain me while i do so, do some one has some interesting small horror stories or longer term mystery ones of the style of “and then there were none”???
i haven’t gone running since I was probably at pre high school and I haven’t used my bike in for liek a year but I today I woke up with a really mess up left shoulder both on msucle pain and with a gash there and I have no idea what and why is there??? like I coudl understand if was my legs the ones hurted or scrapped maybe even my hip but why my shoulder feel as if I had used it to break down a door???
I still not really sold on many things about Villanous design choices but you guys don’t know how much I enjoy having the quality regionalized voice acting they have and that he says constant actual insults here
