*HELLISH RARE SHIPS*

another halloween and another year in which I haven’t yet found that one halloween cartoon (tv special I guess?) that marked me forever and I seriously starting to think was a very lucid feve rnightmare because NOBODY ELSEO KNOW ABOUT IT!!

is about this blonde kid that buys a monster mask and he is just too nervious and anxious about looking good for halloween? in the end he just put on a general suit clothing with his mask and goes ask candies with his classmates and I think his sister, can’t remember much of of that, but they end up going to this one place that I half think was an old lady hosue that they probably though was a witch or some serial killer type that give them some cookies becuase they were the only one to go to her home? anyways it end up with them being super happy about teh whole thing but there is this moment in which he start having a paranoid dream about the cookies being poisoned (becuase his sister started feeling bad after eating the cookies) and then there was a very graphic sequence of all the others kids dead in their houses for eating the cookies, drooling green/purple foam, what the heck that was way too adult for a tv special??!?!? but after that it turn out that his sister was only feeling bad for eating so many candies

anyways, I watched it at FOX KIDS before it was bough by disney and rebranded as jetix, so if any of you know about this mysterious special, please tell me becuase I gotta know, I gotta rewatched it, you guys don’t know how is eating my head each year!!!

the thing is that physical ugliness is just as aesthetically satisfactory if not more, as that of physical beauty, and people should just accept that and not try to cover it up becuase we as society made the word ugly a synonim of any and all insults ever created, using ugly to describe something not always is meant to be offensive and we should try at it more

urgh I can’t help but feeling bad when I get rejection letters from my pitches, makes me think I’m just not so good at my only quality as I think I am

me: man, I don’t really have the emotional energy to work on this last minute comic about young lesbians

also me:  okey but what if they were old lesbians

me: *filled to the brim with a new found energy* oh my god

I feel there is pretty much 3 types of “visual ugliness” most people goes at when drawing, lets say, unfavorable looking characters

The over the top ugliness that you are only drawing as a joke or that you give to a negative character that will never be more than the physical representation of gross and awful. The temporal ugliness of a new oc we didn’t make the best looking on purpose but that lets be honest, we all are gonna start polishing the more we learn to draw them, each time making them nicer and more charming looking out of our own appreciation for them. And finally a weird confusing “ugliness” you aren’t even sure if it count, becuase you know those trails are socially considered ugly physical trails, but you like them in such way that honest to god, aren’t sure if you actually made them ugly or just someone pretending to be not attractive

urgh, season 8 of Xfile it is really full downhill from here right???

we gotta give it to 90′s cinema, lots of horror/scifi movies started just becuase one of the characters only wanted to make this hella risky and unnecesary dangerious experiment for the fame and the funsies, and their friends were all like “WELP will get some dollars from it and have nothing better to do anyways“

I like listening to podcasts but being a not english native can make it a bit hard, I don’t just need a nice voice to hear, I need also a firm, consist and clear voice so I can understand, but like also not too bland sounding that I dooze off or don’t grab anything of what they are saying
