Sometimes I wonder how the new dragon ball can be super popular at the US when is so painfully bland and bad but then I remember how horrible censured it was broadcasted there besides how english dub is hell in general as well dragon ball kai being a form of introduccion to the younger public, so I guess techncially speaking it cant be helped for such bad taste there in first place
been like 9 days since I said I was gonna work on comics and just barely been doing so!! but I been so busy job hunting and not getting anything arghhhhhh! small town life SUCKS and eveyrthing is either waitress jobs or shop attendant and I not even get called back from any of those things!!!!!
ThisMighty been busyyyyyyyyy, job hunting, making comics and checking on my anthologies matters, but I will finally start posting actual comics so yeah! tho, this means I will have to change the patreon stuff again to the actual comic mood, I wasn’t planning that making my harpy-witch comic would boost my morals enough to make me happy to actually work on more

Heyo! Was curious what you think about the new CN show Villainous. I don't have Cable but when I heard about it I dug about the nets. It looks right up our alley with that body horror going on with Black Hat. I was pleased to find I actually understand more Espanol than I thought I did watching clips. I figured there's no way you hadn't heard about it and I'm dying to know what you think now?
honestly, kudos on the guy for having the chance of doing this cartoon! having in mind that this came from mexico in full way, even if all are small shorts, is a really amazing thing! Mexico and latino america already have very few opportunities at the animation department, even less “quality” animation that is not about cultural things, the revolution, football, EL SANTO!
I really liked the show, it really make me remember Billy & Mandy on how purely MEAN most things are there just becuase! also the whole asthetic really, shows about the fun in evil villains are never boring really
about the character design I gonna admit I’m kidna torn, Black hat is basically guilty pleasure made into a single individual! evil, mean and jearkass, simple yet fancy dressing, LOVECRAFTIAN MONSTER POWERS, THE VOICE, guy have it all!!! he is everybodies dream boyfriend of our inner youngster!
I’m way less enthusiastic about the others tho, while I know they gotta have different designs to make them stand out even if they are a “team”, dr flug just emphatises how pathetic nerdy he is and while is funny, not my kind of thing with that design even if teh paper bag is funny, feels the same for demencia, but here I fault all the lolita fighter tournaments I saw back in my day at dA, I HATE 505, I understand everything have to have a pet character but they could really tried something better that was the same level of “cute“ 505 is meant to be, he is just a blue bear with a flower and I CAN’T DEAL with that!!!!
as last thing, I feel everybodies voice is on point, really good really rich voices, excellent chose for each one, even if you wouldn’t think so, mexican voice acting is usually top quality, but the later years lots of american cartoons have had such urghhhh unpleasant dubs voices, so is such a dream thing, just HEARING this cartoon, becuase they KNEW they knew which voices to use
