Okay, just one more Pitch/Sandman drawing.

I’m not actually sure what a person would use a giant hanging lantern like this for. Aside from using it as a place to sit in and sulk, I mean. Use it to hang a huge bonfire in mid-air? Maybe, I guess. I didn’t get around to designing the top, but as long as there’s a place up there for the smoke to escape, why not.

So yeah, I drew more Rise of the Guardians…stuff, of a Pitch/Sandy variety. My hand slipped. Again. Mea culpa.

And since I got just really carried away with adding a whole sand pet shop worth of little sand creatures (but don’t worry—those poor little nightmare piranhas have nothing to fear from all those vicious dream goldfish) so that if this picture was ever self explanatory it sure isn’t now:

I figure that if anyone who gave Sandy a kiss would always get knocked out like they’d been chloroformed, that would just be sad. But if you were working with, like, a one in ten chance, or something (depending on whether Sandy had washed his face since the last city he put to sleep, I suppose), that would be hilarious. (to me, at least)

And maybe deserving of a ‘Things I will not do if I am ever the evil overlord’ entry, down at the very bottom of the list: ‘If my nemesis is made entirely out of sleeping powder I will not be a wiseass and give my nemesis a parting smooch before twirling my mustaches and riding off into the sunset.’.
