I'm very confused why are you saying Maui is in a skirt or kilt? He's Polynesian so it's called a lavalava

one, I never ever said he was wearing a kilt, have you seen me saying that??? you didn’t dude; and two, while maui probably like wearing skirts on this AU becuase of his cultural background having lavalavas as a normal clothing item that anybody can wear, on that particular picture, I draw him wearing a common flannel skirt, which is not a kilt just because of the pattern, and of course, not a lavalava because, is just a common skirt, is even those types that have pockets on them so I don’t think just becuase he is polynesian man, he can only wearn lavalavas, I think he probably would like wearing lots of type of non pants too

Lavalava and Ie Faitaga are common clothing items though. Even the Samoan police wear them. School uniforms include them too.

I didn’t said they weren’t common items, I just said that the thing Maui was wearing on my draw was a simple skirt, which I feel we have already entablished were technically different items, the question was “why are you saying maui is on a skirt, he is polynesian so is a lavalava“, he is still wearing a regular skirt pal, or are you trying to say that becuase he is wearing it then becomes a lavalava?? because thats what I getting from this dude

like I said, I feel he just likes to wear any type of non pants on this AU
