“And this is the black swan exhibit,” Anna explained to Jack, the zoo’s newest volunteer. She leaned against the metal railing and pointed out the elegantly-necked bird which was slowly pacing the perimeter of its enclosure. “We call him Pitch — he used to have a partner, but she died a few years ago.”
“Is he supposed to be in there, too?” Jack asked curiously, pointing out the round fuzzy shape nestled in some underbrush.

- I don’t like skirts but if I had somewhere to buy floral dresses 50’s style, I would dress that everyday
- I constantly worry about being behind my homework and school scheudle (most of the times I never am tho)
- I bought these anime art magazines around half my teen years to try learning better to draw
- I hated drawing expressions or faces when i was a kid, everything was faceless or creatures with just two eyes
- I once painted a mural of a robot with a computer head in the space to pass a class in highschool
Next up, a little something for thismightyneed o3o I had a craving for some Steampunk Old Men and thought “Why not hit two birds with one stone and make it some gift art?” I am really, really happy with how Pitch’s cloak turned out.
Bonus: Below is the first attempt of my painting technique, which is as follows: Careful sketch with a 4H pencil first, then clean up the lines, then use water color and finally ink. The ink can get a bit runny if you’re not careful, but for the worst cases I’ve used Photoshop, and I’ve otherwise been pretty lucky with this so far, and sometimes I’ve been able to use the runnyness to my advantage.

How does Ferdinand get along with the other Guardians? Does he have any close friends (humans, other spirits, not necessarily Guardians)?
Ferdinand relationship with the guardians is rich and colorful as a big weirdly relative family
Tooth - Ferdinand likes Tooth, but is a bit afraid of her to be honest, she can be too much vivid and intense in some themes at point in which is kinda creepy
North - best uncle ever, win all the prizes for the best!! always go to North’s place if is for gifts and snacks or funny tales!
Bunny - something in between an uncle/cousin/big brother depending of the moods, Ferdinand ocasionally ask him advices when he want a truely neutral answer for it
Jack - very good friends the two of them, Jack can act as a big brother to Ferdy in many times and they like to mess up with things every now and then
as for friends outside the guardians, he has a super close relationship with the harpies at sandmann’s tower, ocasionally they act as his confidents too
