given the alternative universe theory, there is (more than one) alternative universe in which “welcome to night vale” is called “welcome to desert bluffs”, and in place of being this radio show about this little desert community love child of the twilight zone, lovecraftian terrors and ruled by some mix of aggresive goverment/cult group, is this radio show about this little desert community love child of survival horror, clive barker’s material and ruled by an aggresive multinational corporation

and everything is perfectly normal with that and everybody love the show as much as anybody else do

until episode 19 part B in which after anybody hearing it, they normally go to night vale tag to do posts basically saying “DEAR GOD WHAT KIND OF HORRIBLE HELLHOLE OF VOID WAS THAT!? NOPENOPENOPE THAT OTHER GUY’S VOICE WAS SO UNSETTING I HATE HATE NIGHTVALE”

which in theory, is not very nice, just saying

oh hey! thanks so much man, i’m glad you liked a lot!

oh weeeeeeeell, I not gonna lie here, when I was making the musical I DID found many songs that could work on something like that (then again, many were from animated musical, so you would have to deal with me on that if I do make one some day)

in general opinion, I dunno, I mean, it would take some time aswell becuase here i would have to take more time to explain in just songs every one of the guardians because are different situations (pitch sandy were just 2 situations, if i make a rotg musical, is likely that i would cross the streams of that story with blacksand the musical becuase thats my headcanon of sandy and pitch story, i think it also would help to make know at which point of story we are in ocassions, would that be too much complex???)

and yes, is Sandy, but he isn’t talking about the guardians really, is more about having chosen sides with MiM, he likes doing his labor and helping humans, but is having second thoughs about having had to chose sides and getting distant and separated with Pitch (which in the song, he also is show to regret it)

Mim actually takes a huge importance on this really, he is sort of our secondary character (pitch and sandy being the main ones and the guardians as the third party) which participation here is what separates sandy and pitch, but is not explicit if it was planned that way or was just an accident or coincidence

I was sort of hoping somebody would notice this one actually

you see anon, when I put that song, I knew it was perfect for that moment, but I didn’t knew for which character to use, at first I though about putting Pitch but it was like “why would he be unsure? things has been relatively okey with him for many decades of time”

and I couldn’t directly put sandy to sing that part without any reason, he is the optimist one! so the song doesn’t have any direct name there becuase is up to the listener to chose with which character that song work the best with! I hope this clear things up!
