Theory time about Jasper’s place in the future episodes and maybe reedemption arc???

I know that the show will probably will go for “Jasper, as gem in charge of the mission, this failure is YOURS and so is the real punishment of it“ and that’s why they wanna find her rather than peridot, who they might think or not that’s dead, but still sounds weird they didn’t even told the rubies to check it, but let’s put that with how carefree the show and they were.

My personal theory is that HomeWorld wanna find Jasper because they think she is trying to revive the rebellion as new leader at earth once again.

Now you are probably wondering why? actually is pretty simple, Peridot talked about that the planet was more important for what could offer than just an eggshell for the growing cluster, which even if YD wasn’t putting attention on, shows that Peridot has been dwelling enough on earth to notice this, but Peridot is technically the equivalent of a secretary technician that probably have been living in a dark room with another 1000 peridots writting reports and having 5 minutes breaks each year, this gem didn’t knew exactly what a mirror and rain were (I not even sure if she knew what water was even,which either is weirder considering Lapis’ mirror prision and water powers, which means water is very much a thing in HW).

So how a secretary that probably should be at complety lost on a place like earth after her ship exploded is what it seem pretty much fine and even rethinking her common mindset, wouldn’t that be thanks to her bodyguard, the only other gem she has been living with all this time sicne she left???

Having in mind the rubies, extremly diverse and casual/carefree character, does that means that they were just goofs or that soldiers have chances of having a more open mindset than technicians? technicians are put on a path of “do this and do it right“, but militar gems seem to be more of “just do that, no matter how you wanna do it, just finish the mission“, it would be logical actually becasue that is more helpful for surviving than telling them to just go from A to B to C, but this is exactly why a militar gem could start having different new ideas than the common gems

HW besides doesn’t showing any redeemable quality is pretty much, one of those super facist false futurist worlds that think they are perfect and always right aven if everybody is 100% miserable and unhappy, up until now, the show hasn’t even directly said if they hide or not any info about their humiliation at earth or the fate of Rose Quartz, and for such strict place as HW, not hiding that someone made a rebellion army made of mostly low soldiers, mistfits and a dozen of higher gems probably, that’s kinda like putting yourself a sign saying “huge loser coming“, even if they shame Rose back at HW they should portrait this whole thing very different

This mostly is to stand out that Jasper said outloud that she had respect for Rose Quartz’s strategy and methods, if HW had such a harsh belt on it’s people as it show, then even if Rose Quartz was the best militar leader of the story, they would portrait her as a madgem that just got lucky commanding another bunch of defective gems, only with the higher militar gems knowing is not true and using her strategy as theirs without saying, so either Jasper fighted in the old war or HW is dumb enough to not hide this info, but still, Jasper shouldn’t be able to say so casually she respect the first and only gem that had actually hurted HW’s pride ever.

so we have a big strong soldier of mid-high position probably, who can think independiently from her direct orders, who have show admiration on the biggest traitor of HW, who have been living on earth for quite a time now while PROBABLY protecting her subordinate, a gem of a lesser status than her, this is what the HW probably think of Jasper…

I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time a quartz went to earth and changed her ways, right?

so yeah, I thinking that the CG probably are now gonna search for and find Jasper at least I hope so, they might as well wait for her to arrive ashore or something seeing how this show is, she will have her gem broken, so, at difference of actual-water-god-Lapis that could easily move all the water of earth as nothing, Jasper is gonna be probably weak enough that punching a rock will make her hurt herself than anything else, so she will have to join the CG because now homeworld thinks that she is the new Rose Quartz of the new rebellion
