while I like the idea of love/intense interest at first sight in au fics of ships I already like, but mannnnnn I hardly can take that as first interaction of most pairings, so it make it way harder for me to write a half short comic in which that just happens, becuase I just feel the characters should be more worried about their self preservation than seeing if someone has pretty eyes/good body/powerful jaws RIGHT IN THAT MOMENT than in a regretful moment in middle of the night before sleeping, which is wayyyyyyy more realistic in any context really
