DAY 9 - A Christmas Carol
- 194 notes
We stayed up all night and we are not getting up early today
It was a strange figure, like a child: yet not so like a child as like an old man, viewed through some supernatural medium and being diminished to a child’s proportions.
A solemn Phantom, draped and hooded, coming, like a mist along the ground. But for this it would have been difficult to detach its figure from the night, and separate it from the darkness by which it was surrounded.
Twas the night, when all thro’ the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
At least no one had to be Rudolph
Try not being naughty this year sweetheart
