(eheheheh oh well my headcanon for them both is that Pitch does talk and even probably sing like lullabies while doing his dream work, and sandmann in other hand still use the sand to talk but also can talk in almost inaudibles whispers that basically is what anybody hear at nite while walking alone with the heart in hands and thinking you are gonna get murder)
