given the alternative universe theory, there is (more than one) alternative universe in which “welcome to night vale” is called “welcome to desert bluffs”, and in place of being this radio show about this little desert community love child of the twilight zone, lovecraftian terrors and ruled by some mix of aggresive goverment/cult group, is this radio show about this little desert community love child of survival horror, clive barker’s material and ruled by an aggresive multinational corporation
and everything is perfectly normal with that and everybody love the show as much as anybody else do
until episode 19 part B in which after anybody hearing it, they normally go to night vale tag to do posts basically saying “DEAR GOD WHAT KIND OF HORRIBLE HELLHOLE OF VOID WAS THAT!? NOPENOPENOPE THAT OTHER GUY’S VOICE WAS SO UNSETTING I HATE HATE NIGHTVALE”
which in theory, is not very nice, just saying
