hey look! my main fellows from The Rising Sun comic! they actually have names and entablished designs! Nana (smol+angry) our protagonist on the story, while I don’t like much the palette I give him I feel his look are very in tone with his attitude; we also have here Tezci (tall+pretty) I actually designed them BEFORE I designed Nana, I knew right away what I wanted for them, specially that leather pants and gogo boots combo, very proud of that!

hey hey! check out the first page for my new comic “The Rising Sun“ (based on the Aztec myth of “The Fifth Sun”) at the Wanderlust Anthology! while is not that noticiable on this page, the coloring does get pretty crazier later on there, I really tried to go for one of that effect of that classic acid musical sequences of before in cartoons, check at my patron for some more previews!

comic comics artists on tumblr mythology dimo art is not a lyrics comic btw only the frist and last page has the lyrics becuase i feel the tune and lyrics fitted the thematic so well I couldnt help using it at least from the folk version tho i did change it a bit in the end also i know i put the lonestar version but i personally envision this with the Sandro one once the anthology allow it i mayeb will post a version with the lyrics of that one
